These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Virel ("Service"), operated by Virel ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use the Service. By using Virel you represent that you meet this requirement.
During onboarding you self-report an age bracket, starting at "13-18" (there is no younger option). This is used to suggest starting topics and, for readers in the 13-18 bracket specifically, to filter graphic-violence content (e.g. mass-casualty attacks, explicit depictions of violence) out of the news feed. This filtering is a best-effort content-safety measure based on automated keyword matching, not a guarantee that all such content is removed or that no other content may be unsuitable for a given reader.
Virel is currently in closed beta. Access requires a valid invite code issued by Virel. Invite codes are personal and non-transferable. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time during the beta period.

If you publish content through Virel's Creator Studio, you retain ownership of your content. By publishing, you grant Virel a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content to your subscribers through the Service.
You are solely responsible for the content you publish. Virel may remove content that violates these Terms.
Connecting your Gmail account is optional and governed by Google's Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You may revoke Gmail access at any time. We access your Gmail solely as described in our Privacy Policy (read-only, newsletters and smart inbox insights).
Virel offers three reader plans: Free, Pro ($5/mo), and Premium ($15/mo). Pro is billed for real through Stripe — your card is charged and the plan takes effect once payment is confirmed. Premium currently uses simulated billing while this feature is in this phase of development: switching to it does not charge a card. We will give notice before Premium moves to real billing.
Virel may issue promotional codes that grant complimentary Pro or Premium access, at our sole discretion, without payment. A promo code may be limited in redemptions, time-limited, or restricted to specific readers, and we may modify or revoke a code's validity at any time.
All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. Real (Stripe) subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@getvirel.co within 7 days of a charge.
Free plan users keep 100% of subscription revenue collected from their readers on the Virel platform.
The Virel name, logo, and all platform software, design, and content created by Virel are the exclusive property of Virel and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. NEWS CONTENT IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIREL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@getvirel.co.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
